The Shipping Coordinator makes sure products are shipped on-time, coordinates with third-party vendors and reports to the Shipping Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Ships all FedEx, UPS, USPS, Shopify, Pirate Ship and other carriers’ packages from Pick and Pack (PNP)
• Ships all FedEx, UPS, USPS and other carriers for production
• Coordinates any request from FedEx or UPS regarding Domestic/Intl Shipments including assisting with clearing packages that are held in Customs
• Identifies HTS/Tariff codes for commodities being shipped internationally
• Prepares all tracking for production jobs and sends information to Account Team
• Enters tracking into Inventory Management Service for all PNP orders
• Sends daily reports of all outgoing shipments
• Process’ address changes and return requests
• Schedules Feeders/Extra pick-ups for FedEx and UPS
• Works with other departments such as PNP and Production to coordinate and prioritize outbound shipments
• Communicates directly with client services team to provide information and help answer questions
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma with some college a plus
• Must have shipping experience with FedEx and UPS Powership
• Detail-oriented
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects tasks
• Timely and efficient
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Computer skills: MS Office (IMS and WMS a plus)
• Ability to climb ladders and work in a warehouse environment
