Responsibilities
  • Independent handling of challenging timber construction projects worldwide
  • Performing structural calculations and structural design and planning tasks
  • Participation in all phases of structural design
  • Ensuring quality, deadlines, and technical standards in your own area of responsibility, as well as taking on project management tasks in line with your level of experience
  • Working closely with the project team and coordinating with other disciplines
  • Communicating and coordinating with clients, designers, and contractors
Qualifications
  • Completed masterโ€™s degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering โ€“ ideally with specialization in timber construction
  • Professional experience in structural design with a focus on timber structures
  • Very good skills in structural analysis and CAD programs such as SOFiSTiK, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit/BIM platforms
  • Independent, goalโ€‘oriented, and reliable way of working, as well as a high level of commitment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in English (German or other languages are a plus)
