This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring on-time performance, full route coverage, regulatory compliance, and the efficient management of drivers and transportation resources. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and service excellence in support of the USPS.Key Responsibilities• Ensure On-Time Delivery & Performance: Oversee all aspects of USPS mail transportation to guarantee on-time delivery, meet or exceed service standards, and maintain contractual performance metrics.• Route Coverage & Contract Compliance: Maintain full route coverage across all assigned USPS contracts; proactively identify and resolve coverage gaps.• TMS Maintenance: Manage and maintain the Transportation Management System (TMS), ensuring accurate data entry, route optimization, and system integrity.• Driver Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor a team of professional drivers.
