Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Bilingual Shipping & Warehouse Supervisor to lead our shipping and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English, possess strong leadership skills, and have experience managing shipping, warehouse, and production support activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position is responsible for supervising daily shipping operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, maintaining inventory of shipping supplies, and supporting warehouse and assembly teams to meet operational goals. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who promotes teamwork, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily shipping and warehouse activities to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Oversee the preparation, packaging, labeling, and shipment of products using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other shipping platforms.
  • Verify shipping documentation and maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions.
  • Monitor inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Train, coach, and mentor warehouse and shipping personnel to improve performance and productivity.
  • Conduct employee evaluations, provide feedback, and support employee development.
  • Assist in supervising assembly and other warehouse departments to ensure daily production targets are met.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, customer concerns, and operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Participate in hiring, scheduling, disciplinary actions, and workforce planning as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping systems required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse/shipping software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal) required.
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification upon hire.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
