Job description

Terravita Country Club, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Assistant Golf Professional! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Processes customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
  • Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process.
  • Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
  • Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes them in the POS system as trained.
  • Issues receipts for guest purchases.
  • Takes messages for staff or guests.
  • Assists in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
  • Assists in the reconciliation of accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the closing of the day.
  • Manages and operates an Association Play Day.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the golf shop at a private or semi-private club.
  • Extensive experience in customer service with great people skills.
Knowledge/Skill:
  • Well organized, with an understanding of point-of-sale systems and tee sheet software.
  • Extensive experience with Golf Genius Software (Tournament and Golf Shop).
  • Working knowledge of Tagmarshal.
  • Well versed in Golf Rules and USGA GHIN.
  • Extensive experience with JONAS POS system.
