Members typically select a primary care provider within the USFHP network and do not need to file claims for covered services.

A USFHP outreach coordinator is responsible for educating eligible military families and retirees about the health plan's benefits, enrolling new members, and maintaining relationships with community organizations. Their daily tasks often include organizing informational events, responding to questions from beneficiaries, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers to ensure smooth member experiences. This role involves both independent work and teamwork, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. Additionally, outreach coordinators regularly track outreach efforts and member feedback to help improve program effectiveness.
