What we need

We are seeking a talented UX Researcher with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience. The candidate will conduct usability and resonance testing, concept validation testing for our supply chain robotics solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in user research methodologies, a passion for understanding user needs, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations. You will collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure our robotic systems and software interfaces are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with user expectations.

What you'll do

  • Conduct Resonance Testing: Design and execute resonance testing to gauge user reactions, emotional responses, and alignment with proposed design concepts for robotics interfaces and software.

  • Perform Concept Validation: Plan and conduct studies to validate design concepts, ensuring they meet user needs and business objectives within the supply chain and robotics context.

  • Execute Usability Testing: Develop and lead usability testing sessions for prototypes, existing systems, and new features, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.

  • Gather User Insights: Use qualitative and quantitative methods, such as interviews, surveys, and observations, to understand user behaviors, preferences, and challenges in interacting with robotic systems.

  • Analyze and Synthesize Data: Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights through reports, presentations, and visualizations to guide design and development teams.

  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research insights into product development and refine user experiences.

  • Advocate for Users: Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring user needs are prioritized throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Stay Current with Trends: Keep up-to-date with UX research methodologies, supply chain technologies, and robotics trends to inform research practices.

What you'll need

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in UX research, ideally with exposure to technical systems, robotics, or supply chain industries.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in UX research methodologies, including resonance testing, concept validation, and usability testing.

    • Experience with research tools such as Miro, UserTesting, Lookback, or similar platforms for conducting and analyzing studies.

    • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, or Tableau) for quantitative research.

    • Knowledge of supply chain operations or robotics systems is a plus.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and derive meaningful insights.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to share findings with diverse stakeholders.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience conducting research for hardware-software integrated systems, such as robotics.

    • Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure inclusive user experiences.

  • Up to10%of travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $96,000.00 - $132,000.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
