Job description

We are seeking a talented and driven UI Developer with a strong foundation in modern JavaScript frameworks and experience leveraging AWS cloud services to build scalable, high-performance web applications. In this role, you will bridge the gap between user experience design and cloud-native technical implementation. You will be responsible for crafting responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces while ensuring seamless integration with our backend APIs and cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS.Key Responsibilities
  • UI Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance, and accessible web applications using advanced JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend frameworks.
  • AWS Integration: Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to integrate frontend applications with AWS services (e.g., fetching data via API Gateway, handling authentication via Cognito, and utilizing S3/CloudFront for deployment).
  • Design-to-Code Translation: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma/Sketch wireframes and prototypes into clean, semantic, and pixel-perfect code.
  • State & Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. Manage complex client-side state efficiently.
  • CI/CD & Deployment: Participate in configuring and maintaining automated frontend build and deployment pipelines within AWS.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and write unit/integration tests to ensure stability.
Required Technical Skills
  • Core Frontend: Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
  • Frameworks: Hands-on experience with at least one major JavaScript framework/library (such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js) and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, Context API, Vuex).
  • AWS Cloud Ecosystem: Direct experience working with or integrating frontend apps with AWS services:
    • Amazon S3 & CloudFront (Static website hosting and CDN)
    • AWS Cognito (User authentication and authorization)
    • Amazon API Gateway & AWS Lambda (Consuming RESTful/GraphQL Serverless APIs)
    • Optional but preferred: AWS Amplify or AWS SDK for JavaScript.
  • Build Tools & Version Control: Experience with modern build tools/bundlers (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn) and strict version control using Git.
  • Testing: Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
