  • Collaborate withmembers of the UX teamto develop the research that will inform the creation of user personas and journey maps.
  • Conduct a variety ofdifferent designresearch activities,includingquantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, persona construction, solution validation, usability tests, heuristic evaluations, etc.
  • Work closely withyour fellow UX researcherstoidentifyresearch opportunities, develop research plans, recruit participants, execute the research, and present your findings to a cross-functional team.
  • Communicate research findings to product and business partners.
  • Support the creation of design deliverables (e.g.,user flows, journey maps, and/or conceptual prototypes) and documentation to help gather feedback on proposedsolutions from internal stakeholders and users.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to understand concept feasibility and support design hand-offs.

WhatYou'llNeed to Succeed

  • At least Junior standing in a post-secondary school majoring in User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Social Science,Computer Science,ora relateddiscipline.
  • A portfolio thatshowcasesspecific examples of your researchabilities(telling the story of the user needs, success metrics, and what you learned along the way.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsto helpbuild empathy for users and clearly share research findings.
