User Experience (UX) Strategists are professionals who plan and oversee the overall direction of user experience for digital products or services. They combine research, design, and business goals to create strategies that ensure users have positive interactions with a brand’s digital touchpoints. UX Strategists collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to align user needs with business objectives, often conducting user research and analyzing data to inform their decisions. Their work helps guide the design process and ensures that digital products are both user-friendly and effective in meeting company goals.

How does a user experience strategist typically collaborate with cross-functional teams during a project?

Job description

We are seeking a Senior UX Strategist / Product Designer to lead user-centered discovery, research, and experience strategy for complex enterprise and digital products. This individual will translate user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into intuitive, scalable experiences that drive measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a strategic UX practitioner who can confidently lead stakeholder engagement, facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions, and advocate for evidence-based decisions. They will own the end-to-end UX process, including user research, journey mapping, service blueprints, information architecture, task flows, usability testing, and experience design, while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholders.
A key aspect of this role is leveraging AI to accelerate and enhance UX delivery. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience using generative AI and LLM tools throughout the design lifecycle, including research synthesis, ideation, journey development, prototype generation, usability testing preparation, insight analysis, and identifying opportunities for AI-enabled product experiences. Experience creating AI-assisted prototypes and designing human-centered AI interactions is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead UX strategy, discovery, and research initiatives for enterprise-scale products and platforms.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, user interviews, workshops, journey mapping, and experience modeling activities.
  • Translate research findings into user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and design recommendations.
  • Facilitate usability testing and feedback sessions, transforming insights into actionable product improvements.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Engineering, Data Science, and business leaders to align user needs with business priorities.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enhanced UX practices while promoting responsible and ethical AI usage.
  • Collaborate within Agile/SAFe delivery teams using Figma, Jira, and modern UX research and design tools.
  • Define success metrics and use qualitative and quantitative feedback to continuously improve experiences.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of UX Strategy, UX Research, Product Design, or related experience.
  • Strong expertise in human-centered design, design thinking, information architecture, and usability research.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and LLMs to support UX research, ideation, prototyping, and analysis.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Jira, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions, navigate ambiguity, and lead cross-functional teams toward user-centered outcomes.
  • Curious, proactive, and outcome-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
