User Experience (UX) Researcher will ensure our digital experiences, across app and web, are grounded in guest insights, helping us deliver intuitive, engaging and guest-centric solutions.
The UX Researcher will support our mission to understand and amplify the voice of the guest through methodologically sound research that drives product and design decisions. This role collaborates cross-functionally with product managers, product owners, designers, analysts and engineers and reports to the Manager of UX Research.
Position Summary:
The User Experience (UX) Researcher will ensure our digital experiences, across app and web, are grounded in guest insights, helping us deliver intuitive, engaging and guest-centric solutions. The UX Researcher will support our mission to understand and amplify the voice of the guest through methodologically sound research that drives product and design decisions. This role collaborates cross-functionally with product managers, product owners, designers, analysts and engineers and reports to the Manager of UX Research.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Define and execute user research using both qualitative and quantitative methods, including usability testing, diary studies, surveys, interviews and concept testing
Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights that shape product strategy, feature development and design direction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure guest feedback is considered throughout the product development lifecycle
Communicate research findings through storytelling, journey maps, personas and presentations to stakeholders
Present findings in ways that drive clarity, alignment, and forward momentum towards business and guest goals
Independently manage and prioritize multiple research projects while staying aligned with team goals and timelines
Additional Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and documentation of research best practices and standards
Support cross-functional workshops, ideation sessions and knowledge sharing sessions with research insights
Help optimize, maintain, and manage research tools
Partner closely with product design, project management, analytics and optimization teams throughout the research process to ensure alignment
Continuously explore new research methods and stay current on UX trends and emerging tools
Support special projects related to personalization, loyalty and in-store experiences
Provide mentorship or peer coaching to more junior team members or interns when appropriate
Requirements For Consideration:
Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, Anthropology or a related field
5+ years of experience conducting UX research in digital product environments (e-commerce or mobile app preferred)
Demonstrated ability to be proactive and independently lead, scope, and deliver end-to-end research initiatives
Strong command of usability testing, qualitative interviewing, survey design and data synthesis
Proficiency with tools such as Figma, UserTesting.com, Dscout, Dovetail, Marvin or similar platforms
Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team
Familiarity with agile product development workflows and UX design practices
Comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
