Job description

The UX Producer, Specialist is an embedded, hands-on UX delivery lead for the multidisciplined UX crew aligned to a product team. Reporting to the UX Operations Manager, this role is accountable for improving the efficiency of UX delivery and ensuring that all UX work is clearly captured, visible, and well sequenced as part of our productcentric operating model.

Partnering closely with the Product Manager and Technical Delivery Lead, the UX Producer ensures strong crossfunctional alignment, proactively manages UX dependencies and capacity, and integrates the UX crew fully into agile discovery and delivery practices. This role is well suited to a proactive, systemsminded individual who thrives in agile environments, enjoys enabling others to do their best work, and is passionate about seamlessly integrating UX into product delivery.

About UX Producers
  • Serve as a tactical UX project manager, driving efficient execution, tracking, and delivery of UX activities within the agile product team.

  • Enable UX crew to deliver on time and to scope, based on the strategy and direction established by the Product Manager and UX Strategist.

  • Proactively remove roadblocks, manage dependencies, and monitor the capacity of UX crew, providing transparent status reporting back to stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • UX Delivery & Capacity Management

    • Monitor UX crew capacity and workload to ensure sustainable, continuous delivery.

    • Proactively surface capacity risks and tradeoffs to Product Managers and UX leadership.

    • Anticipate upcoming UX work and maintain visibility into near and midterm pipelines to reduce rework and lastminute churn.

  • Agile & Product Team Environment

    • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure UX work is accurately estimated, prioritized, and sequenced.

    • Advocate for appropriate UX consideration within agile practices, ensuring UX milestones and dependencies are visible and understood.

    • Reinforce UX alignment to established product team norms and ways of working.

    • Foster trust, clarity, and strong working relationships across product, technology, and UX disciplines.

  • Dependency, Risk, & Issue Management

    • Identify, track, and communicate UX dependencies and risks across disciplines and functions.

    • Proactively mitigate issues and escalate when necessary to protect UX delivery and outcomes.

    • Monitor and manage unplanned or emergent UX work, enabling informed prioritization and tradeoff discussions.

  • Operational Excellence & Transparency

    • Maintain Jira health for the UX crew, ensuring tickets are accurate, uptodate, and aligned to agreedupon standards.

    • Develop and maintain UX dashboards, reports, and tracking mechanisms that provide visibility into progress, efficiency, and delivery health.

    • Support continuous improvement through collaborative documentation, playbooks, and lightweight governance that scales creative and delivery practices alongside product and tech.

Skills & Toolsets
  • Strong understanding of the various UX disciplines (strategy, research, design, content) and respect for creative process balanced with delivery accountability.

  • Deep understanding of modern product delivery models and how UX integrates alongside product and engineering workflows during both discovery and delivery phases.

  • Handson experience with Jira and Confluence; familiarity with Atlassian Goals, JPD, FigJam, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners at multiple levels of seniority.

  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to pivot quickly as business, product, or user needs evolve.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in UX operations, project/program management, product delivery, or a related field.

  • Experience working within agile, productcentric operating models; financial services experience preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
