Job description

Established in 1883, CPM Holdings is a leading supplier of process equipment and technology for the animal feed, oilseed, bioenergy, compounding, engineered materials and human food processing industries. The Company operates through four segments: Industrial Solutions, Engineered Solutions, Process Solutions, Packaging, and Automation; which design, produce and support equipment and systems under globally recognized brands. CPM Holdings is headquartered in Blaine, MN and has more than 1,300 employees with production facilities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
CPM Industrial Solutions engineers, manufactures, services, and supports particle size reduction and pelleting equipment for various industries including oilseed, animal feed, human food, chemical, and mineral processing.
YOUR ROLE:
As National Account Manager, you are responsible for working with the CPM Americas / Animal Feed Sales Manager and other colleagues to define and champion commercial efforts for the entire CPM product line in the feed market in North America. The focus is to both affirm our market presence within the existing customer base and grow our business in the region. After training and gaining experience, you will be recognized as an expert for CPM equipment (including CPM, Roskamp, Champion & Bliss brands), oilseed processing, the oilseed market, and will work across the US & Canada.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for sales of all CPM product (equipment, parts, and service) to select feed customers across the US & Canada
  • Manage feed customer accounts ensuring alignment with customer, market segment, and CPM strategies
  • Provide intensive technical support to customers, including equipment sizing, system and process evaluation, design review, and product training
  • Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with CPM’s products and solutions
  • Coordinate proposal development and technology offering with internal sales operations and technical teams
  • Key to this individual’s success is interaction with the team members and other strategic business partners
  • Reports to management and colleagues about market developments and possible new opportunities in the industry
SKILLS:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to get one’s hands dirty
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to speak in public and to multiple levels within customer organizations, including technical specialists, procurement officers, and senior management
  • Self-starter, driven, and a results-oriented sales professional
  • Enjoyment of extensive business travel (up to 50%)
REQUIREMENTS:
  • AA or bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferred, not required)
  • Experience selling/supporting technical solutions, preferably within the Feed industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Word
  • Practical experience with communicating effectively, orally and in writing, as appropriate for the needs of the audience
  • Residence in the United States, preferably the Waterloo, Iowa area
  • Remote work options are available
