Summary

The Digital Experience Designer leads the design, optimization and execution of digital experiences across Veridian’s website, landing pages, microsites, email and advertising channels. Partnering with Marketing, Web Development and business stakeholders, this role creates accessible, engaging experiences that support organizational goals and member needs. Provides expertise in UX, digital content, personalization and campaign execution to improve engagement and conversions.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the marketing subject matter expert for digital experience strategy and provide recommendations that improve member engagement, support lifecycle marketing objectives, and enhance conversion performance.
  • Design and maintain marketing-owned digital experiences across Veridian's public website, campaign landing pages, microsites and other digital marketing channels.
  • Create digital layouts, templates and content experiences that support marketing campaigns, member education initiatives and business objectives.
  • Create and maintain responsive email templates, modules and visual assets that support lifecycle and campaign marketing initiatives.
  • Create and maintain reusable digital experience components, templates and content structures that support Veridian's Always-On Marketing Architecture.
  • Design and optimize digital experiences that support awareness, consideration, conversion, onboarding, engagement and retention objectives across the member lifecycle.
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of website personalization, audience targeting and dynamic content initiatives utilizing HubSpot, Alkami, Segmint and other approved platforms.
  • Design digital advertising assets including display ads, social media graphics, animated HTML5 advertisements and other digital campaign materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Member Experience team members to translate marketing objectives into effective digital experiences.
  • Partner with Web Development to communicate requirements, test enhancements and ensure digital experiences are implemented as intended.
  • Regularly evaluate website, landing page and digital campaign performance to identify opportunities for optimization and improved user engagement.
  • Research and apply best practices related to digital experience, accessibility standards, responsive design, digital marketing trends and conversion optimization.
  • Establish and promote digital design standards and best practices across marketing-owned digital properties.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of marketing digital experiences to ensure functionality, accuracy, consistency and compliance with brand standards.
  • Support search engine optimization efforts through effective page structure, content hierarchy and user-friendly digital experiences.
  • Conduct user experience reviews and usability assessments to identify friction points and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure digital experiences meet applicable regulatory and accessibility requirements.
  • Manage and maintain digital design systems, style guides and governance standards across marketing-owned channels.
  • May be required to provide occasional after-hours support for website updates, digital campaign launches or critical marketing initiatives.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in UX Design, Web Design, Digital Media, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience of 8+ years.
  • 3+ years professional experience designing digital experiences, responsive websites, landing pages or digital marketing assets with a demonstrated understanding of digital user behavior and online engagement.
  • 3+ years experience working with content management systems and digital publishing platforms.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience designing marketing-focused digital experiences, including websites, landing pages, microsites, email communications, and digital campaigns.
  • Experience using website analytics, A/B testing, conversion optimization, and other digital performance measurement tools.
  • Experience working in financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, personalization, audience targeting, or customer journey platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Alkami Segmint, or similar solutions.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, HTML5 animation, motion graphics, or other digital production technologies.
