SOSi is seeking a UI/UX Designer. The UI/UX Designer will provide user interface/user experience to design, research, and development plans in support of the Sponsor's applications. The Contractor shall leverage expertise in UI/UX design principles, human-centered design, and user research to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences.

Essential Job Duties

  • Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Create user personas, user flows, and wireframes to inform design decisions.
  • Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for Sponsor's digital assets.
  • Design UI elements such as navigation menus, search boxes, and CTAs, to enhance user experience.
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes and testing designs to validate user experience.
  • Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and Sponsor's representatives to ensure design requirements are being met.
  • Provide guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities.
  • Maintain a competitive edge by staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Demonstrated professional experience with the following tools, systems, services, and data types:
    • User research methodologies, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions and validate user experience.
    • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create high-quality design solutions.
    • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma and Axure, to develop and test design concepts.
    • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking to create intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences.
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to effectively communicate design requirements to development teams.
    • Experience with design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and coherence across Sponsor's digital assets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile and web application design, including responsive design principles and mobile-specific design considerations.
  • Familiarity with Sponsor's existing design systems and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with Sponsor's overall visual identity.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design, such as AR/VR and voice UI, to stay ahead of the curve and identity new opportunities.
