Job description

Position: Senior BA / PM - Contractor, (APM / EAM Software Implementation).

Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Durham, North Carolina.

Assignment Type: 6+ Month Contract with potential to extend or convert to FTE.

Work Hours: M-F, full-time 40 hours.

Compensation: $48 - $58 per hour on W2.

Benefits: This job is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

About the Role: A leading technology consulting firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to support the implementation of an Asset Performance Management (APM) system for a renewable energy client. This role is ideal for a hands-on BA / PM who can lead coordination across stakeholders, support system implementation efforts, and drive execution across workstreams. The position requires strong collaboration with both business and technical teams, including onsite engagement with the client in Durham, NC.

Top Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or hybrid BA / PM role supporting system implementations
  • Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution tracking, and issue resolution
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across cross-functional and global teams
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
  • Experience working with enterprise or operational system implementations

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead day-to-day coordination of project activities in a system implementation environment
  • Experience partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to track deliverables, resolve issues, and drive progress
  • Strong experience organizing and facilitating project meetings, working sessions, and status updates
  • Ability to manage project reporting, including risks, dependencies, timelines, and action items
  • Experience supporting end-user training and change management efforts
  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail and accountability for deliverables
  • Ability to ramp up quickly and develop subject matter expertise in systems and business processes
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Asset Performance Management systems or similar enterprise platforms
  • Background in the energy or renewable energy sector
  • Prior experience working in consulting environments or client-facing roles
  • Familiarity with working across distributed or global teams
