Billing Clerk

Job Summary
As an Automotive Billing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of paperwork for new and used vehicle deals and maintaining records in our dealership's systems. You will also provide valuable accounting and clerical support and collaborate effectively with our sales teams.
Essential Functions
  • Reconciles statements and ledgers making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules
  • Bill New and used vehicle deals and post into accounting
  • Bill wholesales and dealer trades and post into accounting
  • Rebate and incentive verification and collection
  • Process payments received for new and used car deals and dealer trades
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Review account detail daily to identify issues, errors or irregularities
  • Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed
  • Provide support for and cross train in other business office positions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Automotive Accounting experience required: 2 years (preferred)
  • Dealership Billing experience required: 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience with CDK/ADP preferred
