Job description

PRO-Telligent, A Tetra Tech Company, needs an Architect in Europe in Podgorica, Montenegro for construction of New US Embassy Compound with State Dept. Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). This is a live position on a contract we already own replacing an employee who is leaving. The position is expected to deploy in March. Requires a US Govt. Secret Security Clearance.
The Project

  • New US Embassy Compound in Europe: Podgorica, Montenegro
    • New Chancery
    • Demolition of the existing chancery and temporary annex buildings
    • Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR)
    • Shop Facilities
    • Utility Building
    • Waste Treatment Facility
    • Recreation Facilities
  • The positions is expected to last 24-30 months and the candidate will need to commit to the duration.
  • Housing and transportation allowances provided.
  • Uplift includes 10% of base salary 
  • Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)

Position Description

  • Provide NEC project with full range of critical architectural, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.

  • Perform technical inspections, monitor the construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.

  • Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.

  • Review shop drawings and submittals from the construction contractor in order to identify problems or non-compliance with design or contract specifications.

Requirements

  • US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
  • US Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Master's Degree in Architecture from an NAAB certified school
  • 7 years construction experience
