Summary
Ursuline College seeks a bright and energetic individual to join the Office of Undergraduate Admission. The Admission staff contributes greatly to maintaining and enhancing Ursuline's reputation. Admission Counselors play a vital role in continuing the efforts to present Ursuline College to prospective students in the Cleveland area. Responsible for recruiting students into undergraduate programs and reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admission.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a recruitment plan for assigned territory, recruiting new students. Fall travel, up to approximately 8 weeks, and Spring travel, up to approximately 2 weeks, consists of outreach including emails, text messaging, phone calls, in-person meetings, group presentations at college fairs, community colleges, businesses, and other off-campus recruitment events. Maintain knowledge of Financial Aid processes and policies, including NCAA's compliance topics. Support evening/weekend visit events on campus. Review applications, making recommendations on admission.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. Previous experience in college admission/higher education setting or related experience, including working with diverse populations. Must be highly motivated and energetic; detail-oriented; and possess excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills. Proficient technical skills in MS Office, including experience using online communication services; website administration skills and knowledge. Experience with Techolutions' Slate CRM is a plus. Valid driver's license, ability to travel and work evenings/weekends as necessary.
