Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Day shift with typical start time between 6:45 AM and 7:30 AM
• 24-hour coverage schedule with variable shifts
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call requirements
• 30-minute call response time required
• Work in a 7-suite operating room with an average of 15-25 cases per day
• Common cases include general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, plastics, ENT, urology, C-sections, gynecology, and endoscopy
• Required experience with Da Vinci robotics, orthopedic spine, orthopedic totals, general surgery, ENT, urology, GYN, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Scrubbing is not required for RNs
• Charting system: Cerner EMR
• May be required to float to the outpatient surgery center
• Scrubs are provided by the facility; personal shoes must be provided and kept in the department
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• BSN not required
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local

This acute care facility operates at a Level 3 trauma center and houses a fully equipped 7-suite operating room department. The facility offers a comprehensive range of surgical services including general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, plastics, ENT, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and endoscopy. The organization supports modern surgical technology including Da Vinci robotic surgery and utilizes Cerner as its electronic medical records system.
