Job description

Are you an experienced Telehandler Operator who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in safely moving heavy materials? We're hiring Telehandler Operators to support a large-scale mobile rebar fabrication operation serving major commercial and industrial construction projects. This position is ideal for dependable equipment operators who thrive in fast-paced outdoor environments, value safety, and want consistent hours with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a telehandler to safely load, unload, transport, and stage rebar bundles and fabricated steel throughout the yard and jobsite.
  • Load and unload rebar from railcars, flatbed trailers, and delivery trucks using telehandler attachments.
  • Deliver rebar bundles, cages, and fabricated materials to designated work areas while maintaining safe load control.
  • Assist with organizing and staging materials to support fabrication, shipping, and production schedules.
  • Secure, balance, and transport oversized or irregular rebar loads in accordance with company safety procedures.
  • Assist with general yard duties, housekeeping, and material organization when equipment operation is not required.
  • Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and wear all required PPE at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous telehandler, rough terrain, or container handler experience required.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in direct sunlight and varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Steel-toe boots required.
  • Long pants and an appropriate work shirt are required.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays as needed
  • 40–50 hours per week with overtime available
Pay Rate:
  • $24-$28/Hour (Based on experience and certifications)
