Patterns Hiring is seeking a local contract nurse RN Endoscopy for a local contract nursing job in Somerville, Massachusetts.

📍 Somerville, MA | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 40 hrs/week | ☀️ Days (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join a busy outpatient GI Center specializing in elective endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate will have prior Endoscopy experience, travel experience, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-anesthesia nursing care for endoscopy patients
Assist physicians during elective GI procedures, including colonoscopy and endoscopy
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safe recovery
Administer medications, including moderate sedation, and respond to patient needs
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Requirements:
Active Massachusetts RN License
Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy nursing experience
Previous travel nursing experience (first-time travelers will be considered)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
SGNA certification preferred
Epic EMR experience preferred
Assignment Details:
13-week assignment
40 hours per week
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
No on-call
Floating required
Every other major holiday required
Outpatient Endoscopy Center with 4 procedure rooms, 5 pre-op bays, and 5 PACU bays
Adult patient population (18–95 years)
Local and travel candidates accepted (50-mile radius)
