Job description

Southernmost Handyman LLC is urgently hiring an experienced Level 5 Drywall Finisher for an active commercial renovation project in Sarasota, Florida. This position is available for immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply full skim coats to achieve a true Level 5 finish
  • Tape, mud, and finish drywall joints, corners, and fasteners
  • Repair damaged or uneven drywall surfaces
  • Sand walls smooth and prepare them for primer and paint
  • Inspect completed surfaces and correct visible imperfections
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Complete work efficiently while meeting professional quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience producing Level 5 drywall finishes
  • Must be dependable and available to start immediately
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Must understand proper skim-coating, sanding, and surface-preparation techniques
  • Must provide photos or examples of previous Level 5 work
  • Own drywall finishing tools are strongly preferred
  • Commercial renovation experience is preferred
  • General liability insurance is preferred for subcontractors

Schedule:

Full-time project work with immediate availability required. Additional work may be available for dependable workers who produce high-quality results.
