Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a Full-Time School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Plano, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist who is passionate about supporting student success through comprehensive evaluations, special education services, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across multiple campuses.

Job Details

  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Location: Plano, TX
  • Work Setting: Onsite Only
  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Assignment Dates: NSY
  • Employment Type: Contract for the School Year
  • Travel Requirements: Travel between approximately 3–4 assigned campuses

Responsibilities

  • Attend Student Support Team (SST) meetings
  • Obtain informed consent for Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Serve as the case manager for assigned Full Individual Evaluations
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Analyze assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports
  • Present findings and recommendations during Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and special education timelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
  • Support student success through evidence-based recommendations and interventions
  • Travel between multiple campuses as assigned


Quelifications

  • Active Texas School Psychologist License required
  • Recent school-based experience as a School Psychologist required
  • Experience conducting Full Individual Evaluations (FIEs)
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple evaluations and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation for travel between campuses
  • Must be able to work onsite; remote work is not available
