Job description

SERVPRO is hiring a Cleaning Technician Specialist!

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls and perform assigned cleaning and restoration tasks
  • Photograph, identify, and inventory customer belongings
  • Wrap, package, and label items for transport and cleaning
  • Clean, assess, and repackage restored belongings
  • Provide detailed cleaning of homes and businesses (floors, surfaces, fixtures, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and work environment
  • Support the crew chief and team with job site activities
  • Ensure excellent communication with team and customers
  • Perform end-of-job cleanup to leave the site neat and professional
  • Follow SERVPRO safety and risk management guidelines
  • Complete on-the-job and computer-based training modules
Requirements
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Experience in cleaning or restoration (preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • IICRC certification (preferred)
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally out of state
  • Ability to pass a background check
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
  • Work in tight spaces like attics and crawl spaces
  • Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Stand, walk, drive, and climb for extended periods
  • Comfortable with exposure to cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
