Job description

NOW HIRING ELECTRICAL FIELD ENGINEER - PHOENIX, AZ!
We are hiring a motivated Electrical Field Engineer to support a large-scale, long-term industrial construction project in Phoenix, AZ .
This is a full-time, ON-SITE position and a great opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to build hands-on experience in electrical, instrumentation, construction, and field engineering.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Coordinate electrical and instrumentation work at the job site
  • Work with subcontractors, vendors, contractors, and field teams
  • Support equipment installation, inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning
  • Review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and P&IDs
  • Track project progress, punch lists, materials, and corrective actions
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports and project documentation
  • Attend client, subcontractor, and project coordination meetings
  • Support safety meetings, JSA, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
  • Assist with procurement, material tracking, and vendor coordination

What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience; internships, co-ops, and academic projects considered
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation & Control, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • Strong interest in field engineering, construction, or industrial facilities
  • Ability to read or willingness to learn electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
  • Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and safety awareness
  • Comfortable working fully on-site in a construction/industrial environment

Preferred Experience:
  • Water/wastewater treatment
  • Semiconductor or high-tech facilities
  • Electrical installation or commissioning
  • Construction or field engineering
  • Equipment installation or facility maintenance

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay rate $95K - $115K (DOE)
  • Weekly pay (direct deposit)
