Job description

THIS POSITION
We are looking for an Assistant Electrical Engineer to join our growing team! As an Assistant Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting a team of technical professionals in the research, planning and design of infrastructure projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct research and gather relevant information for project planning and design
  • Prepare construction documents including drawings, details, quantities and technical specifications
  • Perform quality control tasks to ensure deliverables satisfy scope and technical requirements
  • Communicate with clients and agencies
  • Participate in site visits to ensure conformance with design standards
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree (or in process) in Electrical Engineering
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and other relevant software
