Job description

Pritchard industries is seeking reliable On-Call janitors to provide custodial support on an as-needed basis. this role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly school environment during staff absences, events, or emergency situations.
Key responsibilities:
  • Perform general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces)
  • Clean and restock restrooms
  • Respond to urgent cleaning needs (spills, leaks, or unsanitary conditions)
  • assist with event setup and breakdown (table, chairs, etc.)
  • Report maintenance issues and safety concerns
  • Ensure doors and assigned areas are properly secured

Requirements:
  • Ability to respond on short notice, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Prior custodial experience preferred but will train.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform routine custodial tasks.
Benefits:
