Essential Duties
  • Provide care in emergency situations
  • Attend all regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-service training
  • Enforce all rules and regulations of the aquatics area
  • Assist with maintenance and cleaning of the facility
  • Assist with participant issues or problems
  • Complete any necessary opening and closing procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director

Required Qualifications
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
  • Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of UREC aquatic policies and procedures
