About the role
At Urban SDK, customer relationships are our top priority. We're looking for an experienced and driven account manager to maintain customer accounts, serve as our main point of contact, and grow your book of accounts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. Applicants should also be proficient with executing on renewals, upsells, and closing businesses to reach quotas.
Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to customer concerns and needs within your assigned territory accounts.
  2. Build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long-term partnerships leading to increased customer retention.
  3. Have a strong ability to identify risk accounts and work with leadership to develop a plan of action to reduce risk.
  4. Develop strong relationships with product and engineering teams to assist in new product development based on customer feedback.
  5. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to customers.
  6. Train and Onboard new customers, so they have a full understanding of the platform.
  7. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Urban SDK's products, services, and product roadmap.
  8. Achieve customer retention and expansion goals.
  9. Train and successfully onboard new customers.
  10. Qualify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within assigned territory accounts.
  11. Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
  12. Work closely with the Account Management team, Sales Team and Sales Management to communicate pipeline, develop, test and implement new customer success strategies.

Qualifications
  • BA/BS required or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of Customer Success, Renewal or Account Management experience, preferably with enterprise software or SaaS.
  • A track record of achieving customer retention and sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
  • Familiarity with the transportation technology, city planning, or civil engineering industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with analytics, databases, and smart city technology is a plus.
