Our products include milk, flavored milk, yogurt, dip, sour cream, cottage cheese, Italian cheese, and ice cream mix marketed under the Upstate Farms®, Bison®, Milk for Life®, and Intense Milk® brands.

Opening at our Upstate Farms Dairy Logistics Facility, Syracuse, NY. Responsible for shuttling trailers. Prepare trailers for loading, pre-trip, fuel and document all activity.

** $8,000 SIGN-ON BONUS **

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on truck to conform to DOT regulations and company policy.
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, maintain neat appearance, and follow established policies and direction of management.
  • Maintain vehicle and hours of service logs using an ELD as required by DOT.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
  • Must follow all SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve products, services, or processes.
  • Follow all Safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DOT regulations and assist in maintaining SQF guidelines.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time. 40 hours. Full Shift availability required.


Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • 3 months verifiable experience driving Class A.
  • Doubles Endorsement (Preferred).

Other Functions

  • Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.
  • Must be able to routinely lift over 60 pounds.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • DOT Class A with Air Brake endorsement required.

Pay:

  • $26.00 Per Hour*

Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
