Job description

Royal Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team! The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the General Manager with administrative and floor manager duties. They will assist with costing, ordering, marketing, payroll, accounting, scheduling and running the floor.

Description of duties:

Administrative:

  • Assist with employee file maintenance including Payroll, applicable certifications (RAMP, ServSafe, etc.) , tax forms, employee reviews and write-ups, and other miscellaneous personnel and compliance documents

  • Help with menu descriptions and costing documents

  • Help with daily monies, tip distribution and payroll recording

  • Help with scheduling for best flow of service

  • Help with specials pricing, invoicing and costing documents

Floor Manager

  • Assist staff during service to insure the shifts flow easily and properly

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and seating times

  • Help manage neighborhood relations- assessing whether the business is a good neighbor, effectively serving the community, and adapting to the evolving character of the neighborhood.

  • Coordinate needs between front of house and back of house as it pertains to service.

  • Support GM in their vision for improved operations and sales, help them execute sales and marketing strategies.

    • Effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.

    • Maintain the ability to move throughout each property and perform essential job functions.

  • Know how to do every job in the front of the house.

  • Make each guest want to come back

  • Perform other duties as assigned
