Outside Sales Representative

Philadelphia, PA

$30k + Uncapped Commissions + Benefits

Sales Partnerships, Inc is looking for someone who hunts new business while bringing a consultative approach. This full-time, salaried position is perfect for someone with cold calling experience in the field.


As an outside sales rep, you will be selling commercial energy contracts. This is a quota-bearing salaried employee position with complete management and training support to help you rapidly ramp up to full production. Candidates should expect classroom training followed with field training and opportunities to close deals within the first two weeks of hire. As an authorized representative for our client you will be selling with the strength and advantage of a company and brand that customers trust and recognize. Skills and Competencies:

  • The ability to engage business owners and managers.
  • Able to cold call up to 20-30 customers a day in the field.
  • The ability to present and close value focused deals in 1-3 visits.
  • Assist in presenting results/implications and recommendations to management.
  • Capable of effectively managing a daily schedule of new visits, appointments, and overall territory management.

Requirements:


  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Experience using consultative sales techniques to successfully close the sale.
  • Experience in making a high volume of outside sales calls consisting of daily visits to commercial customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to "cold call' customers face to face.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and professionalism.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Reliable transportation / Knowledge of the public transit system

Compensation and Benefits:


  • Base salary (30K) + commissions with first year earnings of $50k+ by meeting minimum targets. Upcapped commissions. Monthly auto allowance.
