Job description

Position Summary:

Work closely with Amazon and Walmart/Sam’s e-commerce sales teams to provide strategic support and analysis with inventory planning, order fulfillment, forecasting, promotional planning, and reporting. Assist with customer digital content requests and item set-ups for various accounts. Assist with weekly/monthly/annual document preparation and maintenance.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Support Ecommerce sales teams with data, reporting and regular analysis to identify and execute business opportunities by compiling various weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates for Amazon and Walmart Marketplace. Reporting to include weeks of cover, item buyability, profitability, performance, traffic, pricing, and other key measures.
  • Work with sales team to monitor inventory and proactively prepare and place orders for replenishment of Amazon 3P and Walmart Marketplace inventory, monitor aging inventory and help address catalog inaccuracies.
  • Partner with Amazon team to perform thorough analysis of promotional performance and provide recommendations to optimize future activity.
  • Provide ongoing forecasting support for Amazon 1P within Pilot’s systems to ensure all items are reviewed and updated monthly to correlate with projected trends in buying patterns while also ensuring all promotions, new products and exits are captured in the forecast based on direction from sales cross functional teams.
  • Generate trend reports and analyses to help determine changes to product demand, determine necessary forecast changes, and help troubleshoot root causes.
  • Provide operational support to help resolve customer complaints and Andon issues. Execute new item set-ups, maintain accuracy of pricing, case packs and attribute specs in our vendor catalog while keeping internal and external product information catalogs up to date.
  • Provide support for customer digital content requests, external item set ups which may include providers such as 1WorldSync.
  • Prepare reports and analyses on an ad hoc basis to include reference summaries of customer shipments, annual sales and inventory status of displays assortment and history of sample orders for budgetary purposes.
  • Assist and provide back-up for projects in support of sales initiatives as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree plus up to five years relevant experience in a consumer products environment, preferably with a focus on analysis, logistics or reporting.

Skills Required:Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with other departments daily. A high degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are essential. Strong analytical abilities with a collaborative and proactive orientation to solving problems and providing recommendations to optimize to business goals.
