About the Role:
Run molding machine and pack parts produced. Maintain 5S in the assigned area. Report daily production and scrap, and work with employees to resolve production barriers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Using an air Drill: This job function has the employee using an air pressured wrench to tighten lug nuts to make sure they reach specs.
  • Packaging product: Placing material into plastic bags.
  • Boxing product: Placing the finished product into boxes.
  • Cutting open boxes: Cutting and removing tape of raw material to be processed
  • Scanning labels: The employee has to the scan finished product into the system. Using a scan gun
  • Making Labels: Must unroll a roll of labels, place that roll into a label machine, use the computer to set up the information for that specific job and label.
  • Tapping Boxes: After a box quantity has been met the employee has to add bubble wrap if needed, close the box, and tape it close.
  • Dipping and Rinsing: Some jobs require that the product be rinsed or dipped into water or alcohol.
  • 5S: The employee must make sure their workstation is clean. This involves sweeping, picking up unused material, sacking and putting away unused material, and dumping large trash cans.
  • Assembling: Employee must assemble parts by hand ex. (screwing two parts together, snapping a part into another part, wrapping a part in plastic, breaking down a part and making it into another part).
  • Stamping UPS Code: Some finished parts products must have a UPC, or serial number added. This is done by using a stamper and press down hard on to the product.

  • Understand and interpret production documentation.
Education and Experience:
  • Basic Math Skills required.
  • Ability to read and write English and comprehend detailed instructions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Walking/Standing 100% of time worked.
  • Able to climb stairs, stoop.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must have dexterity to use hand and automatic tools.
