Material Handler (Warehouse Operator)
Location: Doral, FL
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: $16/hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler (Warehouse Operator) to support shipping operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role focuses on packaging, labeling, inventory handling, and the use of major carrier systems such as DHL, UPS, and FedEx. If you're proactive, organized, and capable of lifting and moving materials safely, we'd love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and package outbound shipments with attention to accuracy and proper labeling.
  • Verify the contents and destination of packages and inspect for damages.
  • Load/unload materials and place them in proper storage areas using handling equipment.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and segregation.
  • Update shipping logs and maintain packaging supply inventory.
  • Use scanners, computers, and software (Excel, Word, Outlook) to track orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the shipping and receiving areas.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet shipping schedules and address logistics issues.
  • Perform other warehouse tasks and support general operations as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 6 to 12 months of experience in warehouse or shipping operations.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying up to 75 lbs.
  • Capable of standing and walking on concrete floors for extended periods.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and carrier platforms (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment and inventory software.
  • Must wear steel-toe shoes (not provided by employer).
