Job description

PPS is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist skilled in set-ups and operation to produce precision parts for our customers in the semiconductor, aerospace, defense, and other industries.

This is a full-time, permanent position in a NEW, air conditioned building with a highly competitive pay rate, second-to-none benefits, and room for advancement!

Responsibilities:

  • Run and Edit CNC Programs
  • Read and follow traveler instructions
  • Operate lathes
  • Perform All Set Ups
  • Load and unload material and parts
  • Measure and document inspection data
  • Measure, document, maintain or improve on established production standards
  • Read and interpret almost all blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notes
  • Document counts
  • Organize, clean, and maintain work area
  • Complete discrepant tag information
  • Communicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvements
  • Perform All Set Ups
  • Other functions as deemed appropriate
