POSITION SUMMARY:

The warehouse associate is accountable, under direct supervision, to fill customer order requirements with strong team coordination and follow-through abilities to complete full cycle of shipping, stock put away, picking, packing, stocking, documenting, and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety - conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.

Pick, pack, and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner.

Utilize ERP system to process customer orders.

Know and follow all standard operating procedures (SOP).

Keep warehouse manager informed of operations.

Strong sense of time organization and urgency.

Attention to detail is REQUIRED.

Count and record material to ensure accuracy

Utilize scale to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/ customer specifications

Utilize label printer to prepare labels as required

Return remaining product to proper location

Accurately count, package, and label per warehouse/ customer requirements

Accurately package and prepare material for shipment

Utilize freight companies, UPS and Fedex to ship product to include preparing Bill of Lading's.

Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists. As well as varies power tools to build shipping crates.

Meet established standards for quality and productivity

Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

At least one-year general warehousing and shipping experience required.

At least one-year experience operating forklift and loader equipment.

Forklift certification required. Class 8 license preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Alert and aware of safety issues and safeguards required.

Work well in a team environment.

Detailed oriented and perform basic research required.
