Position Qualification
Position Summary
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE, is recruiting an Addiction Medicine Physician to join our Addiction Division faculty. This position offers a unique blend of clinical care, teaching, and academic involvement. You will provide patient care in a busy addiction treatment clinic where addiction medicine physicians and addiction psychiatrists collaborate, while also teaching fellows, psychiatry residents, family medicine residents, and third-year medical students.
Our growing Addiction Division includes:
-Outpatient addiction psychiatrist
-Psychiatrist board-certified in addiction medicine leading the Addiction Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service
-Emergency medicine physician and pediatrician, both board-certified in addiction medicine
-Child and adolescent psychiatrist who is board-certified in addiction medicine
