Job description

Essential Functions

Color matching , formulating colors .

Mixing paint to proper ratios to make ready to spray for priming and painting .

Trouble shooting of equipment .

Dailey /Weekly maintenance of spray equipment .

Weekly maintenance of spray booths (cleaning , changing filters ).

Practice safe handling of all painted products .

Wear all appropriate gear required for mixing and painting ( safety glasses , paint suit , gloves and respirators or fresh air systems that is supplied )

Follow all rules and regulations required for paint handling and storing .

Ability to give directions to preppers in daily operations in loading and unloading the booths .

Qualifications

Previous experience using a spray gun in an industrial setting.

Ability to work in a fast – paced environment .

Ability to preform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads .

Experience with hand tools and power tools .

Read , write, and speak English .

Self -motivated .

Works well in a team and independently .

Physical Demands

May be required o stand for long periods of time .

May involve some repetitive motions.

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds .

May also engage in frequent bending , stopping , squatting , pushing, and pulling of parts and part containers .

Hourly wage: $23-$25
