Job description

Our client a 3PL distribution warehouse located in Mississauga near Tomken & Derry will be looking to add Lumpers - Container Loader/Unloaders to their upcoming busy season Job Duties: Lumpers- Container Loading/Unloading will be required to offload and load various products, scan, skid and reload based on requirements as well as other general warehouse duties as requested. Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise from incoming trucks. Build and wrap pallets for shipments. Perform general warehouse duties including maintaining a clean and organized work area. Verify and check the condition of the freight against the delivery paperwork. Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the warehouse supervisor. Use of pallet trucks. This is a heavy lifting position continually all day off loading containers. Could be Regular or Frozen loads. Day Shift: either 8:00am - 4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm Monday to Friday Pay Rate $22.00/hr 4% Vacation Pay Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit Bus accessible Long Term Opportunities Requirements: Two (2) pieces of Government issued Photo ID and Proof of SIN. CSA Safety Shoes or Boots. Clear Criminal Record Search. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently. Must be flexible to work in containers both hot and cold conditions. Must be able to work in fast paced environment. Must have good communication skills oral and written. Must have some basic computer knowledge experience. Previous experience with RF Scanner an asset.
