Job description

Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Reports to Warehouse Lead or Store Manager
Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate is the first employee to receive new furniture, mattress, and appliance lines and is the last customer impression at the store.
The Warehouse Associate maintains an organized stockroom and follows all shrink and safety standards.
The Warehouse Associate prices merchandise and replenishes the sales floor.
Responsibilities amp; Duties:
• Maintains organization of warehouse, ensuring shrink and safety standards are followed
• Ensures that the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
• Assists with loading purchased items into customer’s vehicles and staging delivery items
• Prepares national delivery items per company standards
• Assists with unloading furniture, mattress, and appliance deliveries when they arrive at the store
• Maintains facilities and brand standards • Assists during scheduled inventory counts and audits
• Assists as helper on delivery truck in self-delivery operated stores
• Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Educational: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
•Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but not necessary Preferred Skills:
• Excellent relationship building, communication, teamwork, and presentation skills
• Strong drive for results
• Strong organizational skills
• Computer literacy
