Job description

Warehouse Associate

Works with warehouse staff to pull, pick and ship or deliver orders to customers in an efficient and accurate manner. Assist daily with general warehouse duties, such as stocking shelves, kitting, and general cleanliness of warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Occasionally assist in loading and unloading of product
  • Organize all printed orders from sales department that require shipping
  • Responsible for pulling parts orders
  • Responsible for replenishing shelves as needed
  • Box and prepare orders for shipment
  • Double check orders to ensure accuracy
  • Includes both small parcel shipments and large stock orders shipped via LTL
  • Backorder all components on stock orders
  • Communicate backorders to warehouse lead or supervisor as necessary
  • Process all orders in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Ensure ship-to, ship-via and freight charges are correct on all orders
  • Responsible for keeping shipping area clean and orderly
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary with forklift and by hand
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as instructed
  • Will conduct these responsibilities in a professional and timely manner
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Must have good attention to detail
Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
  • Demonstrated focus on customer service and team building
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
