What are unlicensed medical assistants?

Unlicensed medical assistants are healthcare workers who perform administrative and basic clinical tasks under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, such as doctors or nurses. They typically help with duties like taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, scheduling appointments, and assisting with patient documentation. What are some common challenges unlicensed medical assistants face in a clinical setting?
