What is an unlicensed insurance agent?

An Unlicensed Insurance Agent assists licensed agents by generating leads, handling administrative tasks, and providing customer service. They cannot sell or negotiate insurance policies but can educate clients on available options and connect them with a licensed agent. This role is often an entry point into the insurance industry, allowing individuals to gain experience before obtaining a license.

What does an unlicensed insurance agent do?

Unlicensed Insurance Agents usually focus on administrative and customer support functions within an insurance agency. Their daily responsibilities often include scheduling appointments, responding to client inquiries, managing paperwork, gathering client information, and providing follow-up support for licensed agents. While they do not sell or negotiate insurance policies themselves, they play a crucial role in ensuring that the sales process runs smoothly and that clients have a positive experience. This position provides valuable exposure to the insurance industry and can serve as a stepping stone toward obtaining a license and advancing to higher roles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an unlicensed insurance agent?

To succeed as an Unlicensed Insurance Agent, strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a high school diploma or equivalent are typically required. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and proficiency in basic office software are valuable, though licensing for insurance sales is not required for this support role. Obtaining a license involves passing a state exam and completing pre-licensing education.

Real Estate Agent - Showing Specialist

Bestproagents Realty

Stockbridge, GA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 25 days ago

Job description

Description
BestProAgents Realty is the only absolute agent-centric cloud brokerage in Georgia. We serve all 159 Georgia counties. The system was built by a Georgia broker who earned his way to being a top-selling listing agent, with over 30 years in the business. With an engineering and contractor background, he designed this amazing brokerage around one idea: What is best for the agent?
BestProAgents Realty LLC is looking for licensed Showing Specialists to support producing agents and team leaders across Georgia. This is a strong entry point if you hold your Georgia license, want real transaction volume and real reps, and would rather learn by working alongside high producers than sit in a classroom. You set your own schedule and work from anywhere in the state.
What BestProAgents provides
  • A real path to becoming a full producing agent, with the ability to change your commission plan at any time as your production grows or life changes.
  • No sign-up fee, no onboarding fee, no desk fee, no franchise fee, no technology fee
  • E&O insurance included; team members only pay $3,000 annual cap with $99 processing fee.
  • Georgia MLS included, NO FMLS fees required
  • Included is your CRM with mobile app, your own IDX website, and a lead generation platform
  • FOREWARN client screening app at no additional charge
  • Broker reachable by cell, 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week
  • Monthly in-person networking and mastermind events
  • No recruiting requirement and no multi-level structure
  • Cloud-based, so there is no office commute and no required floor time

Compensation
Commission only. There is no hourly wage, no salary, and no mileage reimbursement. Showing agents are compensated on a per-transaction commission arrangement agreed with an agent or team leader they support, and that structure is explained in full before you commit to anything. Your earnings depend on the volume of transactions you help close.
A note on training
BestProAgents Realty does not run a new agent training program. Showing agents typically work under an established team leader who provides day-to-day direction. We can place you if needed. This company is designed for the best agents in the industry. If accepted by one of our team leaders, work for a team leader to train you. If you need structured classroom training from the ground up, we will tell you honestly that another brokerage specializes in new agent training. Once you have experience, come talk with us, and we can take you to the next level.
How to apply
Apply through this posting. It takes about a minute, and we review every application.
BestProAgents Realty LLC is an equal opportunity company. GREC #83150.
Responsibilities
What you will be doing
• Showing residential properties to buyers on behalf of the agent or team you support

• Gathering buyer feedback and communicating it to the lead agent
• Assisting with offer paperwork and transaction milestones as you gain experience
• Using FOREWARN to screen clients before meeting anyone at a vacant property
Qualifications
What we are looking for
• Active Georgia real estate license (required; this position cannot be filled by an unlicensed candidate)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Availability for evening and weekend showings
• Scheduling and showing properties
• Punctuality, professionalism, and clear communication with buyers and agents
