This is a 1099 position and is commission based with residuals. In this role, you will be focusing on life insurance sales.

You will be responsible for assisting families with finding the best coverage for their needs, based upon their current situation and goals etc. We are an Independent Agency, and have access to many carriers, so you will be able to find the best fit for the client.

You will be responsible for networking, and generating leads, as well as working with provided leads lists, call in leads, live transfer leads, and cross selling our existing book.

Responsibilities for Insurance Producer

  • Ability to network and develop leads
  • Use lead lists to establish contact and schedule appointments
  • Meet with prospective clients in person or virtually
  • Meet with existing clients to perform annual reviews
  • Must conduct phone prospecting, face-to-face prospecting and through social media efforts
  • Conduct sales presentation with the intent of selling an insurance product
  • Provide claim assistance to clients
  • Solicit referrals from clients


Qualifications for Insurance Producer

  • Must be licensed in the state that you reside
  • Maintain Errors & Omissions Insurance
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Meet state continuing education requirements
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Demonstrate great customer service skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Reliable transportation to meet with prospective and existing clients
  • Above average analytical skills to determine prospective client needs
