Franchise Business Coach - Class 101
Position Overview:
Class 101 helps students and families navigate the path to college with clarity and confidence. We provide personalized college planning, academic advising, career exploration, and test prep guidance to help students discover their strengths and achieve their goals. Our franchise owners are mission-driven educators and entrepreneurs dedicated to making a difference in their communities. The Franchise Business Coach serves as the primary advisor and accountability partner to a portfolio of Class 101 franchise owners. This role blends business coaching, training, and education industry support to help franchisees grow enrollment, deliver high-quality student services, and improve profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive franchisee growth by setting and coaching toward goals in revenue, enrollment, retention, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze performance metrics (enrollment, conversion, program mix, retention, staffing) to identify coaching priorities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with franchisees, providing consistent accountability and performance guidance.
  • Lead in-person training sessions at HQ and provide real-time support to new owners.
  • Coordinate biweekly Franchise Advisory Council Roundtables and support FAC meetings with follow-up and insights.
  • Respond to franchisee support tickets in Zendesk in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee Class 101 U (101U) by organizing content, guiding discussions, and monitoring usage to identify training needs.
  • Partner with the College Planning Manager to keep curriculum, tools, and guides current with admissions and testing trends.
  • Support vendor relationships to ensure platforms and tools function effectively for franchisees.
  • Guide franchisees on local marketing, partnerships, referral strategies, and program delivery standards.
  • Document franchisee interactions and performance trends; contribute to leadership reporting.
  • Facilitate peer group sessions focused on enrollment growth, student outcomes, and profitability.
Performance Expectations:
  • Demonstrate measurable impact on enrollment growth, retention, revenue per student, and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accountability to personal and franchisee KPIs.
  • Exhibit a coach-owner mindset and deliver consistent, data-driven performance improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2โ€“5 years of experience in business coaching, franchise support, education services, or performance management.
  • Proven ability to drive measurable business results and hold others accountable to goals.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance metrics and P amp;Ls.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning CRM and LMS platforms such as 101U.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
  • Experience with the franchise business model (preferred)
  • Background in education services, tutoring, or college admissions (preferred)
