Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical leader within theย Operations Supportย teamย 
  • Receive and workย escalations fromย Supportย Team members and provide timely and effective resolutionsย within SLAsย 
  • Support Premier level customersย following designated procedures and prioritiesย 
  • Solve complex customer issues involvingNetwork Routing and Switching,Network Security and Firewall, Virtualization, Storage, andBackup and Disaster Recoveryย 
  • Collaborate withย Platform Engineersย for advanced troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root cause analysisย 
  • Engage with Operations Leaders to improve operational processes, driving efficiency and productivityย 
  • Leadย by example byย updating internal documentation of procedures, solutions to common problems, and customer-facing support materialsย 
  • Partner with our internalย Educational Services teamย in recommending additions or modifications to existing technician training programsย 
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing activitiesย 
  • Partner withย Platform Owners, Product Directors,ย andย Keyย Stakeholders to improveย products,ย operationalย processes, and complete projectsย 
  • Provide after-hours support as part of an operations on-call rotation to maintain high availability of servicesย 
  • Able to use AI (ChatGPT and Copilot) to improveย efficiencyย and quality of workย 
  • Maintain continued education and certifications
  • Work in ServiceNow to support internal and external customers
Requirements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsย 
  • Ability to manage multiple assignmentsย and operate with minimal supervision, adjusting priorities accordinglyย 
  • Able to maintain a professional demeanor under stressย 
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology, tools, and processesย 
  • Possess an analytical and problem-solving mindsetย 
  • 5 Years of cross platformย supportย experience with at least 3 years ofย thatย experience in aย Cloudย Provider or Managed Service Providerย (MSP)ย environmentย 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceย 
  • Strong experience with Ciscoย routers and switchesย 
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systemsย 
  • Familiarity with cloud orchestration and automation tools (Ansible,ย Terraform,ย etc.) isย good to haveย 
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Backup Software (Veeam and Commvault)ย and Disasterย Recovery solutions (Zertoย and VCDA)ย 
  • Extensive experience in managingย Private Cloud virtualization environments, particularly VMwareย 
  • Intermediateย knowledge of storage solutions, with a preference for experienceย (Pure, IBM, and NetApp)ย 
  • Advanced knowledge of configuration and maintenance of firewallsย (FortiGate and Palo Alto)ย 
  • Possess anย intermediateย understanding of networking principlesย 
  • Proficiency in interpreting network diagrams and layoutsย 
  • Cisco certifications preferred but not required; CCNP, CCIP, CCIEย
