Job description

Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Associate IT Systems Administrator! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Whatever your title, whatever your role - it always comes back to this: we're a farmer-owned co-op where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done. Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since.The Associate IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's technical infrastructure. Your focus will be on ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the IT systems across departments. You will collaborate with IT staff to deploy and configure systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement system upgrades and patches. Additionally, you will support project deployment and build a robust technical environment.

A Day in the Life...

Advanced knowledge in operating system, software and/or application platforms that provide technical capabilities to the cooperative including Intel, UNIX, storage group, portal and web application platforms.
Locally maintain and support all aspects of the corporate infrastructure environment for servers, peripherals, portal, web, and other applications.
Serve as technical resource in establishing, maintaining, supporting, and upgrading associated architecture and environment.
Provide technical expertise to resolve environmentally related issues, as well as expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of management systems that support the company's business applications.
Maintains knowledge of environments that run business wide applications and are accessed by multiple departments and users.
Provide resources and drive projects and timelines towards on-time completion.
Work with software and hardware vendors along with in-house users to deliver a stable infrastructure from purchasing to environment configuration, installation and support.
Support and promote food safety and quality program initiatives within the plant environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience with large enterprise systems and databases environments Knowledge in assigned systems and software. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication Background in Project management Strong Customer service skills Understanding of Windows active directory, DNS, DHCP, and NTFS security, server hardware configurations, Windows LAN/WAN Networking IP Address Management Azure Cloud Management UNIX based server operating systems Infrastructure as code, cloud migrations, and Colo Mgt. Bachelor's Degree required

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
