MANAGER, PARTNERSHIP SERVICES (SHOCKER SPORTS PROPERTIES)

THE RUNDOWN

Playfly Sports is looking for a Manager, Partnership Services to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. Successful candidate will work out of the Shocker Sports Properties offices on campus to prepare high-level sales platforms and presentation materials focusing on renewals and upsells for existing corporate partnerships with the motivation to close a significant number of high-level corporate sponsorship accounts. They will also manage the overall day-to-day operations and service team of the university’s athletic department. Lastly they will lead an operations and client services staff with the ideals to uphold and support the team leading by example with a focus on a culture of hard work, creativity and efficiencies– always building team belief.

What You’ll Accomplish
  • Help develop and execute a sales plan to meet and/or exceed assigned renewal revenue targets
  • Develop key marketing objectives with clients via thorough needs assessment and a collaborative sales process
  • Lead the operations and client services team to meet and exceed expectations with regards to fulfillment, execution
  • Work with athletic staff to identify key marketing initiatives that can be developed into sponsorable assets
  • Work with athletic staff to ensure fulfillment objectives are communicated and delivered upon
  • Manage all media/production components for the university Sports Radio Network
  • Responsible for fulfilling benefits per corporate partner agreements and developing relationships between partners and the sports property
  • Responsible for creating, planning and implementing the university sports property and Playfly Sports Properties special events
  • Manage administrative tasks related to day-to-day office operations
  • Entertain and cultivate sponsors in various settings
  • Represent the university sports property, the university, and Playfly Sports Properties in a professional manner
  • Obtain and manage all necessary proof of performance records, recaps and playbooks
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Five (5) years minimum experience in a sports multi-media environment
  • Ability to generate and present ideas/concepts succinctly and provide creative solutions to prospects/clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives
  • Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills
Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk-up stairs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be available for game day Saturdays, evening athletic events and coach’s shows.
  • Be available to travel for client presentations
  • Be available for hours and duties in correlation to the client fulfillment responsibilities of Playfly Sports Properties
